Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine that involves inserting fine needles into the skin at specific points on the body called acupoints. Acupuncture stimulates the muscles providing increased blood and nutrient flow to the area. This allows the body to strengthen the area and help it improve. Acupuncture has been shown to improve healing time and can also be used to treat issues like addiction or chronic pain. The needles are single-use, sterile, disposable and so thin you may not even notice them. Some people may feel tingling, warmth, or heaviness. Acupuncture is extremely relaxing & many patients experience dramatic results with it! More than one session may be necessary to experience dramatic, prolonged results. Our acupuncturist will work out your personalized treatment plan to ensure you get the best treatment.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

Deep tissue massage with cold therapy. Helps to decrease swelling and pain and increases cell regeneration and range of motion.
In Massage Cupping we apply cups that are suctioned to your skin to lift the skin and allow blood and lymph to freely flow.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Gua Sha Massage
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped. It releases unhealthy bodily matter. It assists in cell repair, regeneration, healing, and recovery. The therapist uses a Gua Sha tool which is a dull instrument made from bull horn to flatten out the muscles and release toxins.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (Lymphatic Massage) aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
Prenatal Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.
Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
Ear candling is an ancient practice that removes wax from the ears, thereby improving physical and spiritual well-being. Practitioners use a tapered tube, about a foot long, made out of a rolled-up sheet of cotton that has been coated with beeswax.
Cold therapy combined with a headache hammock and a targeted neck massage. Also uses the Muscle Mender aromatherapy. Can be booked as a standalone or added to any 55 or 85 minute massage.
To add it to a massage, book the massage first and select it as an add-on.
Sports Taping or Kinesio Taping stabilizes the joint and allows muscles to heal while adjacent muscles work.
